Cloud and Fire

At a Christian conference in Spain we had all just been asked to share anything the Holy Spirit might be giving us to share with others. There was a long silence. I took to staring at a broken vent as the silence continued. I noticed that where the vent was especially broken it reflected the sunlight, and then I felt God nudge me, so I got up and shared this:

Perhaps we view our own personal weakness as something bad, But I want to tell you if you feel broken like this vent below the stage, then be encouraged because it is where the vent is especially broken that it reflects the light. In the same way, it is through our own brokenness that we can reflect the light of Jesus in our lives. So be encouraged in the brokenness of your lives and let Jesus reflect his light where you feel weak.
